Air Plant!

No, it doesn’t live in the air. It does have an interesting way of reproduction though. You place a leaf in a lighted place on moist soil or even without soil and in a matter of days, the leaf will produce young plants along its scalloped margins. Each baby plant is an identical genetic copy of the mother plant (asexsual reproduction). The best news is this plant is among the easiest to grow. It tolerate a wide range of light conditions, from shade to full sun.

A friend of mine brought it for me from Hawaii. It is growing nicely so far.

When is the best time to water lawn?

Water early in the morning (around 5am to 7am). Early evening or after sunset watering will promote fungus and mildew. Some recommend to water the lawn deeply and irregularly. Scotts say 1/2″ twice a week. Light watering promotes shallow roots which results unhealthy plant that won’t survive in hot weather.
