Namaste!

Zwarte Piet (meaning black pete) is a companion of Saint Nicholas in the Netherlands on his holiday travel when he distributes presents to all good children. The character of Zwarte Piet is increasingly controversial, which is often similar to blackface and can bring similar social consequences. It is funny how such characters that show a form of prejudice and promote negative stereotype are still common in countries like Netherlands.

This is the newly built Metro in Tehran. At the moment it has three routes.

We flew to LA on Sunday afternoon and drove up on Tuesday noon. We stayed with our close friends who we always miss.

Wednesday morning I picked up 3 workers to unload the truck. The most challenging part was the statues. And it was even harder than it should be since our truck didn’t have any ramp.

This bench is meant to be in the outside Patio, but till the construction is done I decided to have it inside:
